Finally uninstalled the game again. Riot either you balance the game for the majority of players and reduce the champion pool, or consider your game dead in 5 years at most.

Season 4 is season 4.

Season 5 is a new meta, and you are now Silver, you are no longer a Gold player.

Actually uninstalled because it had a part in ruining my last relationship and it was frustrating me and pissing me off more than I was having fun with it.

With how everything is and has been going, LoL would become the next WoW in 3 years at max, where yeah it's still there but sadly no longer relevant.

Honestly, I don't see league going anywhere that soon. It's a big enough MOBA that stands out from all the others. DOTA has it's unforgiving, slow-paced gameplay, yet with nothing to unlock, Smite has it's easy to learn because FPS style moba with many game modes and a really good art style, League has lots of updates that change the game every so often and a smoother game play to go with it. I don't see any of these dying out too soon except for possibly Dota, but that's because dota never updates.

DOTA is extremely fast paced. TI games have ended in 15 minutes before.

I'm trying to figure out what the OP is actually complaining about.

Aside from Morde being complete bullshit bottom lane, the balance is honestly pretty tight.

It's been a long time since something was honest to God overpowered.

I just feel like the game is stale too often. The same strats, the same champs in every game, the same bans, and the same bs you have to deal with from other players and the OP champs that weren't banned. I feel there are too many bannable champs at the moment and 10 bans is needed. I also wish they would remove chat from the game. It is not needed when quick ping is there and if they wanted people to communicate effectively and quickly, integrate a voice chat option. Chatting in a MOBA is just an interruption.

The game has too many champions that are not played as well. They need to take a step back and reduce the pool or really, REALLY dig deep and try and make all the champs playable.

I have seen the new changes coming and I'm cautiously optimistic of what those changes will do, specifically with solo queue. There are just a lot of issues with the game that have not been addressed and just have been festering for years.

On the contrary, I've seen way more champions played throughout season 5 than I have previously. Sure, some champions show up more often, but most do decent enough to have a fair spot in Normals and Ranked.

There are a small few which don't or rarely ever see play, such as Yorick or Poppy, but those are being reworked (I don't know if we'll ever really see Yorick again though...). Other than those, I could play a game with most any champion and still have a completely fair chance of winning, so long as I was in an "appropriate" role (Ex. Caitlyn as ADC, Rammus as Top/Jung, etc.)

As for chat, if you can learn to type out quick and brief, yet meaningful, messages, then you can really help your team.

Finally, "festering issues." Like what? There's no really bad problems, with the exception of toxicity and leavers, and those are more of the players' fault than Riot's.
