New Champions are really two in one

I really dislike the new direction Riot seems to be going with their new champions. They have multiple targets that you need to focus on. It's bad enough that some champions that really tough to hit, but now you have a champ, Illiaoi, who has tentacles all over the map and are on multiple sides of the lane. I spend all my time killing tentacles when he spends his time attacking me. If I focus him then I die from the tentacles. I understand the tentacles are like heimers turrets, but they are not really easy to see and difficult to click on because they are in awkward spots. Also if you run out of the range of Illaoi he attacks you all the way back to base. Just really really silly. What's next... Superman flying over the map with laser beams from his eyes where he can't be targeted until he lands? Riot please create champions that focus on the ability of the player not the obscurity/absurdity of the champ. I don't know if the idea pool is drying up or what exactly the direction is for future champions, but if the current trend keeps up I'm probably done playing. Just my opinion.
