Toxic players

So I just had the most toxic game today and it got to the point where the game is just not any fun any more. I repeatedly asked players to stop being so negative and toxic and to "just stop typing" and they just kept going. This is a really fun game when people have a positive attitude and work together. I don't mind losing. If everyone tries and we still lose I'm okay with that. But the negative people playing just make it where it's not worth changing "me" to conform to the bad attitudes of what I assume is younger players. I'm an older man and I'm probably the minority in the demographic, but it's just too toxic. Here is what I told an online friend....

"Yep I think I'm done with this game for a while. The toxicity is just too high. I might do some bots on the EU West, but it's not worth it to play this game any more."

I hope the attitude of players improve. Good luck with your game riot. Maybe you can create a "nice" queue and invite me back.

One last thought... If this is really an "e-sport". Could you imagine playing on a football or baseball team with attitudes of the players that play here?

Have you ever watched Hockey or Football, you would realize that attitudes aren't paticularly good there 100% of the itme.

Also press the Mute button, you act so privaliged like League is a right you have and Riot should serve you everything you need on a silver platter.

Sorry to tell you but that isn't how it works in real life and you need to grow up

I gotta agree with you here man. The toxicity is just astounding lately.

I know with any game or sport there is trash talking and bad attitudes arise but lately its just run wild. I spent the last 4 years playing this game and have never had a string of toxic games like this. every game over the last 3 weeks devolves into a steamrolled 1 sided win, and the teams tear each other apart with the most asinine, spiteful stuff.

Normals, Ranked, Rotating Game Modes, ARAM, its everywhere
