I think I'm done as an adc this season

So this is my first post on here, be gentle. I have been playing this game since Zed released. Last year i learned adc, i loved it. ALOT. It may have been becuase of my favorite champion that i decided to spend ALOT of hours in to learning exactly how her abilities can be used, abused, distances, cds. I am talking about kalista. This may be classified as a rant, but i just do not care anymore.

When i first learned the role i practiced corki and graves in season 5. then i found her. Kalista. my god she required such skill but i was happy and willing to adapt. I spent almost all year long refining her and then Season 6 Marksmen update. Sure, she was new. but the new itemization heavily favored your generic adcs what with all the crit and such. I have tried so many times to play another adc, but its just not the same. I have been believe it or not trying to change my playstyle so i might find some other champion to fill the void, and now after trying every adc. I have not found one champion that can do it.

So i turned back to kalista with her 38% win rate at any stage of the game, normals only. I felt so oppressed, i had no lane pressure at all, no escapes since every champion has CC what with AShe and Rylais being a popular pick, Plus the amount of bugs with her E and passive lately. I feel like I am stressing out over this and it might be time to just drop the role and focus on every other laning position.

Yes i do realize kalista was REALLY Annoying to play against that you could never catch her and obtain triple,quadra, even penta kills when you do, But that does not give the excuse of destroying her and leaving her in the state that she is in. Right now she feels like she has 25% of a kit of any other champion. I dont know what needs to change, but i really want her back. Her lore says nothing about how she is this mobile, jumping bunny rabbit that requires a LCS team to play her to do efficiently.

I am not sure if riot when she was created tried to build Hurricane on her in the beta and thats what lead everything to explode out of proportion, but im down for a full rework if the only thing she keeps about her kit is her spears, and rend. The jumping was super rediculous to fight against.

If she's slightly buffed, she is super strong. If she gets a small nerf she is super weak. IMO she needs a slight rework to get her in balance.

I play her as a top, and soul bond the junglar, it's amazing.

appreciate the feedback. but I am just not feeling any of the other adc's

i have tried sivir, her kit doesnt really interest me aside from her ult and spellshield.

Miss fortune seems pretty bullshit with the new Support MF meta that lcs has begun.

I have tried lucian briefly and the dashes were nice, but i faced enough lucians back in season 5 with kalista that he is technically my sworn enemy,

ashe seems to have a very dumbed down kit that doesnt really get any better unless you can aim the ult globally and hit 90% of the time,

jhin was interesting for a while but his excitement has slowly begun to dwindle away with all the squishy supports with no peel in ranked making him a sitting duck unless you can predict where exactly you should place your flowers without fail,

varus and corki are in such a wierd spot that they barely have any late game,

I bought star guardian jinx but that feeling wore off in about 2 weeks now she just feels meh,

i tried learning vayne that was a nightmare with the current early game focus on laning phase,

I feel like i have to become a dick to be a good draven, if i get ksed anytime his passive almost forces me to scream at someone becuase thats all he has,

Caitlyn seems like jhin but jhin is alot more fun and alot more ranged, i didnt really enjoy her playstyle at all,

ezreal is just meh even with blue build,

trist is pretty fun but i cant actually say that would be my new main at all, she is like my wild card if my main was banned,

i have tried twitch which seems the closest to kalista i can get but i dont really like being a assassin adc with your only escape a stealth.

Sorry for the long response, and hope this clears why i am really hating this role right now.
