Single handedly carrying your team (more than twice anyone else's kills) Perfect KDA Having ALL tower destroys on your team Being on a huge killing spree Earning the most gold in the game

How do I know this? Manged all of these things in one game and got a A+.

Something that might be related to getting an S: Being the highest lvl at the end of the game. Ryze, who earned an S in that very same game was 2 lvls above me despite only 2 more cs, 8 less kills, and no objective contribution.

Buying a Sightstone on non-supports seems to automatically give me an S-.

I sell it only if I need the slot. Usually, I immediately ward choke points as soon as I get to the river, using up all of the charges in one go. Then, when I get to base, the Sightstone refreshes and I do it again.

I have my opinion on this. You are in no obligation to take it into acount.

I think it is coming from all the players playing a certain champion. So, if the champion is play a lot or if people get high scores on it, it will be more difficult to have an S: The average will be higher.
