@Riot: Is Galio on the rework schedule soon?

I love the idea of Galio being an anti-mage. To me, he seems to fit the persona of "AP champs can't blow me up" "I can stall out games with my abilities" and "better watch out for my ult". However there are some glaring issues with Galio's kit

The problem(s) I have with Galio are: he's completely a niche pick due to his passive (You practically can only pick him if the enemy has one or two AP champs on their team because if he's built full AP he's outclassed by better picks), his E doesn't blend with his kit well at all (I can see what the idea was though. It appears Galio's designer wanted him to have a multi-purpose function on his E, saving his allies or scooting in for his ult), and last his ult is easily interruptable (I understand that without reasonable counterplay, Galio would be inherently broken with an ultimate like his).

I think Galio would be fine if you changed his E to a dash, instead of a speed boost. His passive and his ultimate are what make him unique, so if he's scheduled for a rework anytime soon, please I beg you, keep his passive and ultimate similar to what it already is.

Also, side note: Ardent Censer used to work on Galio's shield on allied champs, now it doesn't. Galio's W is technically classified as a shield, so is this a bug or something that was overlooked when you updated ardent censer? Found this out yesterday playing support Galio.

Changing his E to a dash doesn't really fit with his core function as a disengage tank/mage, you can still pick him into AD heavy teams, he has high base damages on his abilities so prioritizing Armor items over AP items will allow him to still do very well, he's probably the best champion in the game to make use of thornmail, since in addition to having an AOE taunt he also has his W to heal him while his opponents take damage from attacking him. RoA, Archangels, Thornmail, Zhonias and the new deadmans plate are all good options for him even if they don't synergize with his passive.

Also regarding his passive, a lot of people seem to just stack MR all game and rely on it for all their AP, but it's usually better to use it to establish an early game lead and then go into a more damage oriented build. I play him top lane sometimes and I find even when going a more defensive build you want to consider health items over MR, since it will give you more effective health than just stacking resists.

His main issue I think is his extreme mana gating, early game he might be more mana hungry than Yorick or Pantheon and just a bit better than Poppy. Having his auto attacks restore a bit of mana over time on hit based on his missing mana would probably be the change I would suggest.

i just run some mana runes. splas in about 100 mana early game makes for a nice saftey net long enough to level up and gain my mr buffs from the MR per lv. runes.

They should make his abilities scale directly with MR and give him a new passive, preferably something with mana sustain or mobility. Oh, and of course remove the fcking cast time on that E already.
