Before Fizz's mini rework, he could be tethered before using his E and then it would still be connected after the E.For example abilities like Morgana's Ult or Karma's W would fit under this. After playing a game with Morgana it seems like this is no longer the case. He comes out of the E without the tether. Is this intended?

I would report this just to annoy riot if they removed this.
I think its accurate and fair to no longer to be tethered. The ability makes him Untargetable. And ability can target him anymore if hes untargetable. Things like morg ult and Karma E (i think thats her siphon) are a constant retargeting in the spagetthi code and it ceases its "feedback" once he becomes un-targetable. Ignite is different,as is something like brands passive as that is a status effect and it directly plaques his health. No targeting.
Hm.. that shouldnt happen, maybe he just used E to jump out of range? Didnt test it yet tho so they mightve changed it.
