Am I missing something?

Is Udyr just impossible to counter or am I going crazy? I ban him almost every game when jungling. When i don't it's almost a guarantee that the enemy jungler is gonna pick him. I get that he has no gap closers and that kiting is a possibility as well, but at the same time his movement speed and stuns are almost a counter to that itself. I could flash but so can he god forbid he run ghost. I can't farm because his early solo invade strength is astronomical for most junglers and to top it all of everything in his kit is designed to ensure he wins 1v1s and almost always wins 1v2s, in which case he gets at least a kill and gets away.

I'm just genuinely curious is it something I'm doing wrong or should i just perma ban him? No matter what, him being on the other team seems to be almost a for sure loss.
