Why do illaoi tentacles count as farm?? I mean they give 5 gold. It gives a false impression on farm since you'll end with 400+ cs but will have no where near that amount of gold.
It should count as a cs only when you kill 3 or 4

CS has always been a fickle stat:
You use it as a relative comparison between you and your opponent. Items, Runes, Masteries, Abilities, and global objectives mean it's never told the complete story, and likely never will.

Cannon minion gives 45.5 gold to start out with.
Saying that none of the options that give more gold than the average minion shouldn't count seems a little unintuitive.

47838070_DEL2 votesThing is how many shrooms or clones do you kill in a game like 3-4 clones, 10 shrooms MAYBE 20 if we re generous? lets say your farm is 250 and you have 20 shrooms thats a boost to 270 only which doesn't really affect it that much % wise.
On the other hand, I've probably killed over 100+ tentacles which brings my farm from 300 to 400+ which is WAY off and ridiculous. thats a 33% increase.

CS is always a relative score, taken with a grain of salt. Two players with the exact same CS may have earned drastically different amounts of gold, depending on their Runes, Masteries, Items, Abilities, and what they killed.
There's a reason the stat isn't "total gold earned", it's intended for it to be a nebulous indicator of how much gold someone has.

I'm getting destroyed in lane by one like I can barely farm but for some reason my cs is higher then hers..

dunkeroni1 votesI think GP can target them with Q, but I may be wrong. In any case, these 6 champions are reasons to why so many things do count as cs, even if they're not lane minions. They can get bonuses from yorick ghouls, zyra plants, heimer turrets etc.

except for azir soldiers. azir soldier cant attack tentacles from range as well as wards barrels and anything else that can be attack with normal AA

Sire Hippington1 voteswelcome to the jungle issue. As soon as the gold per cs differs alot, cs is no longer a really relevant number. A nunu for example will usuall have much less cs than the oposing jungler, but more gold as he just eats away their big monsters and they get the small ones.
However, if you don't want a complex statistic that shows how often you killed each typ of minion/monster you killed nor the direct info on how much gold one has, then the cs number is probably the best call to get a rough impresion on how you stand compared to the rest.
