Ok I have complained about the Surrender system before and long story short it feels like its just a way to waste everyone's time sometimes when three people want to leave and two people are being stubborn or worse trolls and yet there is a fear of being reported for leaving. Which is still a problem but a worse problem is when someone does AFK like five or ten minutes in and the rest of us are forced to wait for ff to be available and if they afk without disconnecting their vote still counts and leaves us having to wait until 20 to get out .... its just a massive waste of time, can we please at the very least allow ff for ANY afk not just early ones?

Duo votes should be counted as one

If you don’t want to waste time, don’t play this game. I don’t understand why I must lose because 4 of other people decided to surrender? If you want to leave the game sooner, hit alt-f4. I want to play till the end and have a chance at comeback and if not, I at least enjoy the game enough to play it to the end.

Riot doesn’t punish leavers anyway, so go ahead and rage quit any game you like.

This game is made for people to play it and playing it takes the priority over not playing. Thus surrendering has to be 5 votes, not 4.

I’ve had so many games where at 30+ min in late game my team for some reason chooses to surrender when we still have our base whole and I play a fed Master Yi.

I consider those people to be trolls. They ruin my game where we not only have chance, I would even say we are ahead. All that is required is a good initiation.

Bottom line, stop playing League and stop wasting your time.

this is a case of damned if you do damned if you don't. if you surrender it can be reported as grieving and giving up and if you afk it can be reported as leaving the game.

My rule should be:

If in a group all counts as 1 vote (and if divided 50/50 becoming nulled)
If you do not vote, it won't be counted as anything (if no vote given, it is nulled)
And votes SHOULD be the majority, not vast majority. Anything above 50% will be the winning decision, not this 80% to FF or 100% for early Surrender (early should be 80% if anything).
Dodges, afkers, and inters would go down if each vote actually held weight, not if only a bunch agree with the decision.

And IF it ties to a 50/50, the match continues on as no decision was made/agreed upon.

Nulled Won't be counted for or against the vote

P.S HOWEVER I can live with early Surrender being 100% if need be, and groups can count separately AS LONG as the group is duo and not the majority of the party.

The no vote null and 51% decider NEEDS to remain though.
