Why not own all champs?

I think that it is simply too hard to play so many hours to get every champ and rune. I think that runes should be something everyone gets at lvl 30, something that anyone can experiment with, not just the pros. I think that making champs cost IP makes it extemely hard to play a variety of roles when starting out and forces you to be somewhat of a one trick pony which this game wasn't meant to be about. This game was meant to allow people to experiment and let people play various roles except it doesn't support that idea in its current state. Riot needs to make champs free along with runes to allow for a better experience.

PBE or you know, Riot Points will get you every champion. It's an incentive for newer players to keep playing, I thought that was pretty obvious. Pavlovian reward system.

hmm i have all but 3 champs and all the runes i could want

i only have spent about $325 on the game and majority of that was gifting skins and champs to friends

majority of the most common tier 3 runes have been reduced

riot never intended for you to get champs for free ... they want you to use RP that is how they make $ considering its a free game

If you are just a casual player not worried about rank you can try new champions every week. Riot rotates through most of the champions weekly to play for free. With 10 to pick from plus ones that you buy, you should never run out of things to try.

I do agree with you on runes though. Runes just punish inexperienced players who already have a disadvantage. They have played less so you should expect them to not be as good as their opponents and then you gimp them by giving them less stats through runes in comparison to people who have spent thousands of IP on runes.
