New ranking system

The current ranking system in my opinion is off in a way. I think that the system should be more like a numerical representation. For example street fighter awards lp for winning a game based off the opponents ranks, scaling accordingly. Although the difference of it being a solo vs team game might have some people arguing although as stated by riot it is possible to carry any game and therefore like a solo game you can carry. Although the idea of someone constantly carrying you isnt something that is statistically possible as one person cannot be carried from bronze to plat simply by being carried. They must do something "right" to be able to win which is represented by their rank. The problem i have is that the current system babies players and doesn't make them constantly preform. This system of lp represented by a number gained and lost respective to a win or loss could change league of legends for the better allowing you to play with people who deserve their rank. If someone is out their complaining about rank decay it is because they are a filthy casual who want that gold border at the end of the season. One of my friends got to plat 5 somehow and he just played his monthly game to keep the rank just for the ego. but i want to change that and make the league of legends ranking system something that actually has meaning and truly defines people of their rank. This would make ranking up much more viable as the potential for carrying is much higher. This game needs to get hardcore and make people grind for their rank. It needs to be something that is highly respected so that people cant say, "oh you boosted ape i bet you bought that" because they would need to constantly perform to keep it. This would make league an overall better game and bring back the honor of a rank.
