Yasuo is not broken

People just hate the Frozen Mallet- IE -PD yasuo - and with good reason! It's just stupid that he can be tanky and still deal decent damage. The biggest problem is that people whine about Yasuo because of this build, and when Rito inevitably gives in to gameplay QQ, people won't be able to play assassin Yasuo. I personally enjoy building Yasuo almost full damage much more than tanky. Riot needs to address this build and make it spevifically less powerful without nerfing Yasuo himself.

Neither Yasuo nor his items are particularly broken. People are just bad and would rather whine about a champion than learn to play against them.

See: Zed, Riven, Lee Sin, Vayne, etc.

Winrate is 50%. Perfectly balanced. Maybe you're just salty (for good reason) because he's in too many games? That's just popular man, can't nerf that.

Balanced =/= Healthy.

Yasuo might be balanced but he's also probably the most unhealthy champion in the game. He doesn't deserve to be balanced, like pre-rework Poppy.

You're so ignorant it's laughable.

If Yasuo is balanced, then he can not be the most unhealthy champion in the game. Champions like Kalista or Azir are so unhealthy because they fundamentally can not be balanced. Their kits are such that they are either essentially the best pick for their role or among the worst.

Poppy was the same way. Old Poppy had by far the strongest kit in the game. So her early game was made incredibly unforgiving and weak to make her very unreliable, but basically win the game herself late game.

Many champions are far more unhealthy than Yasuo: Riven, Vayne, New Rengar, Akali, [literally anyone with an ability that seems a bit powerful in concept]

It's Yasuo himself, not the items he builds.

Frankly, I have no problem with Yasuo by himself. I think he's pretty well-balanced and requires a smidgen of skill to play. He's still a polarizing champ though, like a lot of assassins/slayers, because he can easily snowball into an absolute monster, and easily carry games.

THAT BEING SAID:

What I DO have a problem with, is Yasuo paired with Alistar. This combo is absolutely fuckin' busted. The fact that Alistar has a low-cooldown (relatively; we're not talking an ult here) knock up that he can reliably land on a target of his choosing thanks to his charge, when paired with Yasuo's ultimate, makes it THE most broken mechanical combo in the game. Janna/Yasuo is a close second.

Other knock ups aren't that much of an issue, as they have built-in "out-playability". Rek'sai or Blitz for example have to work to land their knock ups. Janna is another champion that is very nearly broken with Yasuo as well, but her whirlwind can also be dodged (except good luck in the middle of a team fight..).

The reason Alistar is so much worse is because he's a true tank, and goes wherever the hell he pleases. He can single out any target he wishes (a hard-carrying adc, for example), and simply lie in wait for them in the jungle. Late game Yasuo's ult will reliably kill any glasscannon outright, from upto 1200 range away, with absolutely no chance for the "out-playability" that Rito loves to preach as a core design principle.

Dunno what the answer is.. maybe less range on the ult? Either way, this shit needs to be addressed.
