Strategy Guide: LoL Essentials | League of Legends New Player/Beginner Guide by The All Tomato

I've been playing this game since season 4 and while in ranked i always wondered why i would lose and how i could prevent it. I came across this guide a while back and every piece of information has made it clear to me what i was missing as a player. When ever i have a friend that wants to get into league i reference this guide instantly. I also share this guide with people i come across in ranked that seriously want to climb but fail to practice the things needed to get to a higher elo. I feel like some people don't know this guide is out here so i'm throwing it up for all to see. If you apply this to your game play i promise you will see results. The key component of this guide i feel makes the biggest difference is the last part , the advice tab and advance mechanics. So for everyone in bronze and silver wondering why you cant win and why you cant seem to climb seriously read this guide word for word.

Read through the guide and learned some interesting things, like multiple heal penalty lasts for 35 seconds. Currently in Silver 3 which is probably where I belong tbh... even if I don't hit Gold 5 this season, it was still informative. Thanks!

I didn't read the whole of it, but just in the "Champions" paragraph I already saw a couple mistakes...

  1. Champions do not necessarily attack automatically, that's a toggle-able option, and you should probably disable it.
  2. Ranged champions do not always use a projectile (Vel'koz, Thresh, Rakan, Azir).
  3. Gnar isn't transformed by his ultimate/R button, but by his passive.

More generally, it feels confused, with too many details and unimportant technicalities for a true beginner (not mentioning it's quite long), and too many approximations for someone who really wants to deep dive inside how the game works.

No offense meant, but I would not recommend that guide.
