Does everybody in the premade lose lp when you remake?

Ive played a game where we were a premade of 5 and we remade cause someone afked and didnt lose any lp (except him) But im hearing stories about people afking on purpose cause they forgot smite or something and their friends are on promos and they both took the loss since they were premades (this is for sver/bronze) Do your premade friends take the loss of lp as well or do they just take a loss on promos or was that justa bug?
