I don't know if this is even remotely possible, and sorry if it's a dumb question, but does anyone else think Azir could be a decent jungler? He has good Ganks with ult and decent clears with his soldiers. Also sorry if this is already popular thing.
Azir isn't even in the mid game meta atm, let alone Jungle. Shame, considering he's my favourite champ but yeah.
Coincidentally enough though, IwillDominate did an A-Z Jungle marathon last night in his stream, including playing off-meta Junglers. But he straight up refused to do Azir even though a lot of people have asked. Apparently he tried it once and it's really, really bad. He's a pretty open minded person imo so if he says it's terrible I'd believe him.
Your problem with Azir is going to be his early clears. I haven't tested it (though I might tonight), but Azir's HP pool and starting armor is horrible--even with armor seals. More likely than not he'd get dumpstered by red and blue. He'd also probably eat through too much mana to really have a lot of uptime in the jungle, and has no sustain to upkeep his hp bar. His autos are too weak to really be of use in clearing, as well.
I think on paper his kit would serve him decently as a jungle carry, but I just don't think it would be enough to make him serviceable. The early game is just too important for a jg.
