Anyone else notice that the only people who complain that Garen is OP are low gold and below players?
Seriously get good at the game. Nobody in diamond and higher will ever complain about Garen and you know why> Because they are good enough at the game to not worry about a mediocre onedimensional champ like Garen
If you want to beat Garen learn things about lane management, keeping distance, cs'ing and harass when it is the right opportunity and map awareness.
People on here are too dumb to realize that yea, obviously the DESIRED way to be able to handle garen is to become a plat or diamond player in skill. Easier said than done. Most of you on here that are that high I bet have YEARS up on YEARS of gameplay in this..and regardless, the "get good" argument as to why they aren't a problem is the single most narrowminded approach to a conversation I've ever seen. How about, grow up and realize that some people will never be above silver, and that's okay. In fact, that's good...the differing skill levels is what RIOT wants. So drop the "it's not a problem if it's not banned or used at worlds" argument; it's a very weak one.
Yep. One of LoL's easiest champs and they feel the need to make him as strong as he is...really, just removing his silence would do wonders...then you actually COULD have a chance to kite him...but flash garen makes that impossible right now.
Trinity force makes it even more fun.
Just ban him if you are going to play something that is either not ranged, doesn't have an execute, or doesn't have hard cc top and you are picking first. The problem with him is his W anyways not his Q or R. It is a general problem this game has with tanks and bruisers these days either having some ability that makes them have broken durability and then don't have to build anywhere near full tank and deal insane damage or they don't have that and they have to buy full tank items to live for 4 seconds after their 2 seconds of cc finishes.
If Garen is so OP then why was he never picked or banned at Worlds?
Garen is a dumb champ just cause he's braindead to play. Played against a garen yesterday as ekko and only lost lane cause of jg presence and I roamed bot to take drag and tower. Outside of lane he is easily kiteable and pretty much useless except his silence and ult. He does need a rework like many champs that take almost no skill to play.
