Quick Question about FOV, vision resolution and screens. [Please take a look]

Just a quick question. Does a player with a 4k screen sees wider area then for ex. a 1080p player. I'm asking this because when I compare my field of view to streamer's and youtuber's mine is much smaller. For example I can't see the full radius of Yasuos ult. I have a 1600x900 resolution screen. So do players with bigger screens and higher resolutions have an advantage over people that don't. Because if that's true, it's really unfair and it should be fixed. Have money = Buy Better Monitor = Have more vision around your character = Less chance of not seeing a gank = Win? Hmm.. ok.

I think this is more an issue of aspect ratio. I have a 8:5 monitor, so I have more vertical information on my screen. I do think that they slightly zoom in my view to componsate however. I wish that Riot would just allow us to zoom out as much as desired though, as it doesn’t impact much gameplay wise, as fog of war is still active. Just a QoL feature I’d like.

What you get to see is determined by the height of your resolution. Wider screens get to see more.

Can confirm, having an extra wide monitor gets you a tiny bit more screen to the left and right. Won't help you see that gank coming though, not in bot at least.
