Heimerdinger needs a nerf badly, yet Riot continues to ignore the problem

With a current top lane win rate of 54%, which has climbed to places among 57%, is Riot going to continue to ignore the no skill, ranged counter to melee's? Does anyone remember a time when Ryze was dominating top lane against melee champions? Well, he's back (and has been back) in the form of a yordle with forever-attacking turrets. Riot ignores him because he isn't a part of the competitive scene but he's an annoying menace to deal with when you're melee. You try to attack his turrets and it opens you up for an easy stun/laser to the face. Does anyone else have this problem because I have fun in 99% of the games I play whether I win or lose in lane but playing against a Heimerdinger top lane makes any game instantly not fun because I can't even get close to csing (csing is my A+, #1, most fun thing to do that I always end up having the most of across both teams at the end of a game) and it is just awful. Something needs to be done about Heimer top lane. He's balanced in mid lane because mid lane uses a lot of ranged champions that can kill his turrets from a distance but something about top lane needs to be done. Maybe a 1-shot kill within a certain distance of the turret (whatever a close-ranged melee attack is, think Fiora, Wukong, Irelia, etc.) which is similar to the change to Doran's Shield specifically because of Ryze top lane that eventually made top lane balanced because it changed to reduce damage from solo attacks (instead of melee attacks) which eventually brought top lane back to the way top lane should be. Again, I think he's balanced if played in mid lane just not at all in top lane. Riot, please please please change this champion! You brought him into the League, you can take him out -- I mean make him balanced.

He is a counter pick champion, so of course he has a high win rate, because smart players only pick him in matches they'll win. If you champion can be hard countered by heimerdinger, then ban the little bugger. If they pick heimer first, then it's your job to counter pick him and shut him down (which can be done, Syndra for instance makes Heimer cry).

Granted, he is annoying. I hate him unless I'm playing him, or playing Karthus. But you can't deny the fact he has a lot of counters, just like everyone else, you can still lane switch, or another option in Draft is to just turn top lane into mid lane #2, and if you can get ganks on him, 2 to 3 people can often get a kill with no casualties(granted it might still do a lot of damage).

Pick a champion who can easily kill or displace his turrets. Don't pick a champion who has to walk up to them and hit them with melee champs. If he picks after you then see if you can switch lanes or simply farm under turret and accept that the game is going to be rough because you've been counter-picked. That's really all there is to it.

Look at his pick-rate.

Literally the only people that pick Heimer already know how to play him. Judging the win rate is only valid when the champion also has a high pick-rate.

Play smart and you won't loose, the high win rate is because nobody know how to counter him in bronze silver & co only wise players know how to counter the donger, summoner 4

Well I think the damage that Heimer does is RIDICULOUS. I go up to him to try and attack, and all you see one second I have full hp and the next his little turrets have killed me. They have to give him actual abilities OR give the turrets a shorter amount of time to be there, like 90 seconds or something.

which eventually brought top lane back to the way top lane should be.

No. There isn't anything "a lane should be." Meta exists because it's strong. Tank/bruiser top lane works now because they can usually hold their own without a lot of ganks. That means jungler can focus on mid and bot more, and also control dragon. If someone counters that meta laning, then it's good job for them.

Besides, lane switch is a thing. Switch with mid (or even bot). Also, Sion E can push away turrets.
