Ruby Sightstone got several buffs and is now actually pretty good, as long as you went for a tier 3 gold item, want to keep the Sightstone at full build, and have (imo) at least 2 active items to benefit from its CDR.
I suggest instead of buffing it even further (which would likely result in them removing something from it for balance), simply adding an alternate tier 2 Sightstone that does this.
Ruby sightstone is already pretty good. And Moar pinks doesn't do anything unless you're 60 minutes in and full build as a support.
I'd rather have it increase the ward cap to four.
Supports don't need encouragement to ward more, the other roles do. If anything, I'd really appreciate it if we could get the pink ward trinket back.

... It seems really good. It's not placing more wards but it's clearing more wards. Oracle's Elixer used to be a standard Support item and this is the closest we've got to it again. Oracle's Elixer is gone but the concept remains. Vision denial is valuable.

It needs to have a buff that reduces your trinket CD added to it.
Or having Ruby Sightstone allows you to pick up a new Pink Trinket. Which works kind of like the blue one except they are basically Pink Wards. It would definitely make it worth buying as a Support or even Jungler.

Yeah, this works, but it doesn't solve the problem that Pinks pose for stealth champions, nor does it actually address the underlying issues of stealth!
Having the ability to drop an instant speed (no cast time, no delay on activation) AoE of True Sight on a stealthed champion is BS. It's unfair to the stealth champ, and it's not really a test of skill on your part.
There is so much Riot could do to make vision in the game fun and exciting. Your proposal is part of the problem, in that it keeps perpetuating the idea that access to more Pinks is what we need. It's not. We need more variety in the way vision, sight, stealth, detection, and vision denial are expressed.

I think it would be better to make an alternate sightstone item such as an emerald sightstone so that way the support can either be placing a trio of stealth wards or a single pink ward on the map at a time it allows a more in depth variety to build paths.
ruby sightstone seems like a fine item for tanky supports. Having it holds unique ability to place vision wards would be unfair to all the other supports and force them buy it aswell. If there will be a feature to have replenishable vision wards, it should be universal to all supports, but ofc such feature will also demand a rework of some stealth champs, which a tuned around the idea vision wards are not so widely available
I'd rather see a pink ward slot so you can place pinks at full build. Warding has improved a lot this season, but I still see a ton of people with 2 charges on their yellow running around complaining about vision. A dedicated pink slot would help with people buying that. 75 gold really isn't a big investment for a permanent vision station, but you don't see anyone buying a pink except for the people with a desire to climb. Plus at full build you... can't.
