I honestly wish Mobi boots didn't exist, they're such a noob trap item

25 Movespeed. That is all they give you once you start fighting

Meanwhile: all give 45 movespeed and additional stats+effects.

Mobi boots are literally only good if you're so snowballed that you're able to 1 shot people with a single rotation, but sadly almost every fucking jungler and support think it's mandatory for some reason even when they have nearly double digit deaths and no KP to show for it.

It's so depressing getting players like this in my games that feed and just ensure they'll keep on feeding with their garbage itemization.

I always take them on Rakan if I don't have item 3111 for the CC or item 3047 for the AD damage I'll take.

The massive movement speed you get is really useful as a Support, and it saved my life more than once. Since Rakan has great mobility, these boots can allow you to lose your opponents since you're so fast and you W through every wall.

There are a lot of noob traps in this game, but each one has a solid niche among knowledgeable players. I'd much rather have better learning resources than the removal of noob trap items.

It's not a noob trap, you just can't buy whatever you want in every situation. They are meant for quick roaming, not battle stats. You get them on roaming assassins and supports, typically. Infinity Edge is a great item, but you don't want it on AP champions; that doesn't mean it's a noob trap item because you bought it on Azir (in any situation), for instance.
