Placements were unforgiving this year

I honestly think that this year's placements were done poorly. I'm trying to fight my way back into gold after being dropped an entire division. Up until the final placement from s1 to g5, it was relatively easy. But now, it seems as though my team has been playing at a lower level than the other team when I'm one game away from getting back to gold. I was 2-0 in the promotions and things were looking up. Then a the matchmaking gods seemed to intervene and in all three of my last games, our top and mid didn't do too well early game and they destroyed us. I'm not saying I did perfect in any of the early games, but there was definitely some unbalanced gameplay if it happened 3 games in a row- let alone I just needed one win to get back to gold. Though this doesn't show the early game stats, it's just a snapshot of what the game looked like at the end... sorry I really needed to rant because it's thoroughly upsetting to me.
