Why doesn't Riot just unlock every champion for ARAM?

Make it truly random and instantly destroy the possibility of ARAM accounts. Win-Win

I don't know why this isn't a thing yet. They did it for ARURF, so it can't be that hard to do the same for ARAM.

100% Agreed.

I have wondered that myself.

The only explanation I can come up with is riot is afraid people will buy a lot less champs if they are just gonna play aram. Or maybe new players would be drawn to the mode bc all the roster is unlocked from lvl 5 hence they would never invest in champs in the future.

Would've made sense some years ago, but since we now have an insane amount of pick personalisation through several rerolls, reroll pools and trading, simply extending the random pool to full capacity will just increases the chance for anyone who didn't already used aram accounts to get the picks they want instead of being "truly random". The amount of ways we now have to manipulate our picks will just make said picks more frequent and repetitive and it wouldn't bring any diversity at all in a fully unlocked champion pool. Now, just ban a champ you are tired off and you can rest your mind on the fact you won't see it, instead of having to fight Sona/Ziggs/Veigar and the like every 2 games because the opposing team has an almost permanent roster of 10 to 15 champions availlable to manipulate
