What does gameplay think of bruiser assassins?

Edit: I mean things like tank ekko and bruiser ekko and not things like assassin J4

I looked at the Shaco subreddit and a lot of people aren't very satisfied with him right now. Then I looked at the Rengar sub and saw a few clips of him as an assassin and a few memes about his current state.

After visiting those 2, I began to wonder what the community here thinks of them. And seeing how the gameplay boards appears to be about gameplay, I thought I'd ask here to start discussion about that and what you guys think of bruiser assassins

I thought you meant the likes of ad j4 heca or renek for a second

I hate those 3...

This is the healthiest state rengar has been in for ages, far better than the one shot era

I was thinking Wu, J4, Renny, Aatrox, Shyvana with AD/CDR assassin builds.

What's to think? Divers are pretty much a Jack of all trades class. And since both Divers and Assassins are designed to jump on top of targets out of position, there's going to be some level of cross over. (Yet people will insist that Diver Fizz/Ekko is pure cancer)

I think pulling off a Diver build on an Assassin, requires a certain level of DPS on said assassin. Having that DPS combined with the defenses in a Bruiser build gives you the necessary dueling power, if you can't nail your opponent in the first combo. Fizz and Ekko have that DPS because they have damage on their AAs, as well as low CD on their abilities. Rengar also is pretty caster focused. Though Bruiser Shaco is news to me.

Bruiser/Tank Assassins always turn out to be ebola aids to play against. Assassins should always be building minimal defensive items and always going for as much damage as possible so if they are going for a lot of durability, then there is a problem. Or you can just be Rengar and get memed by Riot into a Bruiser.

At this rate you should refer to Rengar mains as Rengar memes. Far more accurate for whats posted there these days.
