If you get disconnected from load screen you will always get a leaver buster because surrender vote game is over in 3 mins which will always happen you need to make it so that at 5 or 8 min then you can surrender.
Fondling Gems2 votesThe reason it is not at 5 or 8 minutes is that a) there is no way to know if you are coming back and the point is to get everyone into a new game as fast as possible, and b) At that point you will be super far behind so the whole team will be playing at disadvantage anyways.

Fondling Gems1 votesPlaying bad isn't ban-able leaving a game is. Since they have no way of knowing if you are coming back and delaying the timer hinders 4-9 people (depending IF the afk comes back in time) and only helps 1 then it doesn't make sense to give a ton of time.

I have zero control over my disconnection. so saying it puts people at a disadvantage is not valid because I could be in a game play horribly I mean horribly 0/10 and put my teammates at the same if not worse place then if I was disconnected yet only one is punishable
Fondling Gems1 votesThat is because there is 0 way for Riot to know how or why you disconnected. Playing bad is fine, it happens. However since they have no way to tell why a player leaves and they have to discourage purposeful afkers so there is a punishment. They give you chances to leave without punishment, and they give you warnings.

A player loads into a game and game sees no actions being taking for 5 mins that is afk. System cant connect to your computer so disconnects you. 100% riot can Identify that
Fondling Gems1 votesActually, that message is sent to people who both dc and afk. However if you afk you close the game/cut off your connection so you don't see it.
As far as internet connection is concerned there is no difference between ending the program establishing the connection, having the internet break somewhere along the line, or the player turning off their internet. It just isn't something that is knowable from an outside perspective. My whole career is based around computers and programming and I am telling you, there is just no way to know.
That automated message? It is just a "If connection is false, show this message" Riot isn't actually sending it, it is coded into the launcher and it can only detect if you aren't connected through any means because there is no way to tell the cause.
