So I don't play this guy much but I vs'ed a Fiora the other day and basically destroyed her in any shape and fashion you can imagine. In champ select however I got swarmed worse than some1 going teemo ADC. I was surprised so much toxicity was involved around my pick.
Is this normal?

never seen it so its not really meta but if u went tank kha then i could see it working
It really depends on who you get matched with. Some people will troll, flame, and sometimes dodge if you try playing anything that isn't at the top of the latest tier list. Other people, like the ones I play with, will not care in the slightest, and might even play something even stranger.
You'll run into nicer people eventually.
Rengar top can work, so why not Kha? People aren't just used to the change.

Seen kha top more times then I can count. Ren tops also. I have not played kha in about a year or so but he does go top. He is a mid lane champ and jg champ. That is like people saying zed and yas can't go top. The he'll they can't. There would not be guides for them in those lanes. Another is varius mid. People rage quit for that. But he is a true mid like jhin is who also tops. If you can play the champ in a lane and not feed and help the team I don't see a problem. The ones that do are thinking with a box on there head.
It's not trolling but i would advise against it heavily.
It's like saying playing Lulu support is trolling.
Just the community being the community, really.
