Ideas for lux nerf

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/s65RX3zS52o/hqdefault.jpg so everybody loves lux. i mean how can you not? the problem is that she is a little overbearing right now. she is amazing at range, but also not to shabby up close with her W keeping her alive. all she has to do is W when you jump on her the Q-E-ult= you are dead. my solution for her first round of nerfs would be to allow you to interrupt her ult. this does two things

  1. adds skilled counter play that didn't exist before. this will make lux player have to use their ult more strategically and thing beforehand rather than casting it whenever they want. it gives players a very small window to outplay/punish a lux for poor positioning. the insanely low CD of her ult is already compensation for this nerf.
  2. it highlights her weakness to close range fights. lux should exceed at range, but not up close. if she panic ults at point blank then this will make it easier for the enemy to cancel it.

i think that this will be a really good nerf because it is a buff to counter play rather than just nerfing numbers. this will provide a better experience for both sides by raising the skill cap a bit for lux players and provide enemies more options/reward them for exploiting her weakness. this will probably all the nerf she needs IMO, but we will have to see. if not i would look into her E (like making it smaller and gain AOE the farther it travels), but what do you guys think?

The ult's uninterruptability isn't a feature; it's a function of how cast times and animations work. The animation for her ult is longer than the cast time; changing it so that interrupting animations, rather than channels, stopped spells would require massive changes across most or all champions. Honestly, I think reversion of the buffs to her E that made it larger and faster would be fine.

If you're upset about point blank ults, Riot solved this problem before with Jinx; scale the damage based on range.
