someone explain to me what the phantom dancer's lament does? it's the first attack done to from a champion to you? if so is that just autos or spells too

When you auto attack an opponent, they do 12% less damage to you for a few seconds. That's all sources of damage except true damage. But it's only the most recent enemy you've hit.
