Somewhere between 30-50% occurrence in the last 20 games I've played tried to play in champ select (Dodge cause of bots). That's pretty bad. They're super obvious too (no masteries, only play free champs, select ghost/heal summoners).
Yeah I know, Riot doesn't care about dominion etc, etc...
...but might as well try.

I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to fix the bot problem than disabling experience.
Like honestly, I got through level 10-29 by playing dominion because normals get very painful in the middle. I really do like dominion, but it would feel so shitty to go through an entire game and not receive any experience. I'm already butthurt that Champion Mastery can't be gained there, but thats a different subject.
Also slightly offtopic, what level is the account you're trying to play on? I basically never see bots anymore because I'm always matched with other level 30 players.
And if you play late at night there will be 0 other real people in your game. I really don't know why they haven't created an automated system to detect these accounts. It is insanely obvious and they never seem to get banned (if you look up the accounts you see they will have been playing for weeks/months...etc).

Now that I think about it, whenever I play dominion with my friend (we get bored) I'm pretty sure we're the only humans there.
They could just ban the bots instead. Which they aren't actually doing now.
To every player experiencing bots in their matches (on any maps) report them for "feeding" & "third party software" at the end of game lobby.
Afterwards, submit a request listing the name(s) of the bot(s) and a link to the match they were in. Choose the "General Questions" category. Player Support will understand it's not a question, so no worries.
Riot must have changed the matchmaking formula last patch, because before then I never saw a bot in Dominion on account of high MMR. Now I'm seeing them all the time. It is painful to queue for 15-25 minutes and then have a game ruined by bots. It's driving people out of the queue either by dodging or going to other maps, which is making the bot problem even worse.
A temporary solution would be to make it so level 30s don't get matched with sub-30s. That wouldn't solve things (lower level players would still have to deal with them) but most of Dominion's dedicated players are long-timers that hit 30 a long time ago.
The best solution would be Riot finally sucking it up and having players just start at level 30 from account creation. As with any illegal product, farmed accounts have demand. So long as that demand exists people are going to cheat to make money off it. If Riot destroyed the demand, then the bots would evaporate overnight.
I got 8 bots no too long ago. I was the only player on my team, and only one player on the other team. ;c

And in Twisted Treeline as well, as I'd bet my left nut 99% of the games being played there are farmer bots.

The automated system can't detect bots verry well. Considering the lack of players in that mode there are games where bots are paired in there own games at a decent rate. That pads there win/loss rate as the other bots are just as bad.
Report them outside of the client. Riot has to directly look into the account to see if its a bot.
i have seem bot in SR too, they are super dumb and always feed.
