Runic Echoes buff doesn't help fiddlesticks in the mid or support roles and he still needs a buff

I'm a middlesticks/ support fiddle main, and I cannot play my favorite champion without being called out for "trolling" at least every other game. Fiddlesticks has a really interesting kit and I wouldn't want it to change. Fiddle can sometimes thrive in lane and can even be in the "Teemo" realm of annoyance, however more often than not he fails miserably.

Say I'm facing an assassin mid, Fizz, Kat, Zed, Talon, Akali ect. If I want to all in one of these champs, due to the nature of fiddle's kit I have to be standing well within Fizz or Kat dash range to use Fiddle's only real forms of DPS which are his W and R. Even after all 4 of fiddles spells are used, basically any assassin can turn around and 100-0 burst you before you burst them. Other mages don't have to go through the pains of having to basically stand in melee range to get the bulk of their damage off. A Brand, Velkoz, Syndra, Azir, Zyra, ect. can all "all in" from a reasonable distance without being threatened and have the consistent DPS to do it. From long range, all Fiddle has is his E, and Fiddle's E might only proc once if there is no minion wave or a very large minion wave present.

If you want to go ahead and call Fiddle an assassin instead of a mage than classifying him as that would also lead him to be far weaker than his assassin counterparts. After Fiddle ults/zhonyas, he has no escapes, where as most assassins do. He doesn't have a khazix leap, an Akali shroud, a fizz or Kat double dash, a Zed W, Eve or Rengar invisibility, Talon park our ect. So basically my question is, if Fiddle is going to be stuck in this middle ground between a mage and an assassin, shouldn't his abilities be buffed so that he's still viable in this assasin/mage gray area?

All in all, I think Fiddle's R damage should be increased so he at least has a chance to burst people before he get's 100-0'd, and I think his W damage should be increased so he can at least try to sustain on the front lines where he is going to be at least some, if not most of the time. Like I said I love Fiddle's kit and he's incredibly fun to play mid or supp, he just needs a little extra push from Rito to make it all come full circle. I'm no troll. Just a proud, courageous, Middlesticks/supplesticks main.
