Ranked LoL has become a RNG game for me. Don't know what to do.
I am a Solo Top
player, and a damn good one. Often I can either overcome my opponent or maintain my lane and enemy champion while my team continues to work. Basically, I've played enough matchups with counter picks (ex:
) or exotic top opponents (ex:
) to have confidence that I can hold my own. I can move past the 15 minute mark, tower down with 3/1/0's (avg.) give or take a few assists or jungle kills.
With that established, my ranked experience now feels like it is completely out of my hands. My skill level as a deciding factor of victory has been taken out of the equation. Now my wins and losses are solely decided upon whether or not the team I'm randomly picked with is going to argue, troll or know how to do their job. Ignoring pings, feeding out of spite that someone took their champion pick, junglers who don't take smite, thirsty solo-artists who want to take on 4v1's, and so on. Not to mention the ridiculous anti-meta champion picks that are doomed from the start.
Example of player picks that have thrown the game: Jungle
, Support
, ADC
Being ranked, I can't dodge these car wrecks without hurting my rank. I feel like I'm constantly penalized trying to carry dumpster fires. I dominate top lane, take down my tower, and then see bottom utterly destroyed while already pushed towards the third tower. "How did their adc and support get 5/0 and 6/0 apiece before 14 minutes?"
I just don't know what to do. I feel like this game is rigged from the start. One dumb move by a Wood 6
and team fights are already lost. This is the third time I've been bounced down to Silver 5 after climbing above it. This is very disheartening; especially with League of Graphs telling me that I (used to at this point, cold streak) play with a Diamond skill with
while in Bronze/Low Silver rankings.
I feel like I'm rambling at this point with salt, but I honestly don't know what I can do. Spending a couple hours bashing my elo against a brick wall of failed teams does not feel like a great time investment.
Advice?
