Shifting Sterak's away from ADC's

All these threads about giving Sterak's a minimum health requirement, like Warmog's, and lowering the AD, and I have only seen one post I agree with.

OP said that they should put a scaling on the shield where the more health you have the higher the percentage should be. I like that idea as it is quite interesting, however it could become a bit too complicated for just an item passive.

Somehow I haven't seen a single thread suggesting this. Raise the percentage scaling on the shield and make it scale to BONUS HP instead of maximum HP.

Who is this item geared towards? Juggernauts. What do juggernauts like to build? item 3065 item 3071 item 3143 item 3742 item 3748 and in a lot of cases item 3083 .

All of these items give bonus health. Sterak's would still be very beneficial to Juggernauts who build bonus health. But would not be beneficial to a Kalista with item 3031 item 3085 item 3153 and item 3156 .

That's my suggested solution anyway. Any thoughts?

Also any reds that see this I would like if this has been tested yet, and if not why? Thanks! Peace.

Why not just make it melee only ?

It would probably still be abused by an otherwise full damage melee carry (such as Fiora or Yas, with nothing but crit and damage.)

And there are a few "ranged"s that would like a juggernaut build over an AD carry build: Thresh, Urgot (in my opinion), Gnar(however I am not certain if he can build melee only's or not.), as well as tank Graves (it still won't be good on a Graves with IE, BT, Maw, and RFC.)

Going with bonus HP scaling instead of max HP won't close down these options for those who enjoy them.

Just for clarification. My favorite build on Urgot top is item 3025 item 3071 item 3022 item 3053 item 3068 item 1330 . However to be fair I haven't played it in a while. It may be crap since the addition of Duskblade.

Thank you for the comment by the way. :)
