Positive outlooks in League of Legends

As someone whose best friend can be a bit toxic at times, I often find myself trying to calm him down, as we duo a LOT. As I play more and more solo, I find myself continuing to do the same thing there.

Should someone start acting full of themselves for doing well and spouting off the dreaded "BRONZIE," I commonly tell them that if they are a higher rank than those they are beating, they should be offering criticisms and feedback on performance rather than mocking them. That in doing the latter they are no more than a mere bully.

Should someone start performing poorly and begin to blame their team or shouting that they "have a plat II account." I tell them that they are only making themselves look bad. That they should admit their poor performance, be it due to just a bad day or not, and move on, as it will help them to keep calm and play better for the rest of the game.

As stupid and cliché as all of this sounds, a good percent of the time, it actually does work. I have seen players reform their behaviour mid game due to some of my reasoning. I have even gotten many friendly honours from it. lol

I feel that a lot of the toxicity within the game can be cured by the non-toxic players standing up and being moderators for those with quicker tempers or itchy trigger-fingers. So i would like to ask people to do this. Anyone who is tired of seeing others bully or get bullied in this game, try reasoning with those causing the problem.

They are all human after all. And I think a lot of people forget that from behind their glowing screens.

Thanks for the read guys. Have a GG.

Positivity is contagious and it actually wins more games too. Pass it on.

I know what you mean I used to play with someone who was got upset when they were losing and would snap at me. I dropped them and the game has gotten a lot more fun. Tell your friend you're not going to play with them if they are going to be a dick
