Swain toggle ulti

how come swain can ulti and even though he gets stunned, silenced, suppressed, the ulti continues?? he can even ulti and zhonyas and still be able to have it running..... i know swain isnt a huge issue with the game ATM but id played recently against one as a malz.. and well not a fun match up... swain easily out traded me.. and even when i got him down and low enough to force a fight his ulti comes up and nothing my Q or ulti could do to stop it..

any ideas for next time i meet a swain mid as a malz??? anyone feel there should be a change to this?? ATM i can only think of karth as the only other toggle ability champ... am i missing anymore??

pls dont think im calling for a nerf.. im looking for advice in this matter...

His ult stays on because similar to wukong's ult, it is not a channeled ability, like kat's ult or nunu's.

I agree, he is very annoying to play against at times.

He's fine as he is.

Malzahar is an oppressive pusher. Use your advantage by timing your E with lane minion deaths so that you expend minimal mana and push the lane. Swain will struggle early game pushing back, giving you an advantage. Get more familiar with Swain and his massive mana costs, so you can feel more comfortable laning against him. Swain is not very strong.

Swain truly struggles when he has to CS under tower, because he will have to use abilities, as Malz you should be pushing the waves to him.

Love it or hate it, those birds keep on going because its not a channel.

ya... i had trouble pushing the lane VS swain cause he would Q or E me... and If i stayed... Malz moves SOOOOO damn slow... that i couldnt trade cause here comes the snare.. but post lvl 6 just wasnt fair.. i couldnt touch him.. so i had to let him control the lane... we won cause they threw huge... but it was the most painful game in a while...

Push under turret, kill him pre-6 or get an early lead on him and you can overpower him and make it very difficult for him to get back into the game.

Advice, summoner 14 = Half the healing item 3151 = he has a good amount of health (normally), this should burn him

And beat him early game, in lategame he excels, and will be able to beat a Malz (normally, since he will build item 3116 item 3151 item 3001 item 3065 item 3020 item 3157 or something like that, which will make your damage non existing.
