Lower Priority Queue

Why does your game crash, and my account get punished for it? I'm loading into a game and it crashes and tells me it has to do some repairs, so I lose my ranked game and get 5 20 minute lower priority queue games. Makes no sense why my account would get punished when your game decided to make some repairs after crashing.
