Riot gutted Ryze in the worst way possible

Im not the best player in the game and i enjoy having fun but i did get ryze to diamond a few seasons back and without his shield he is now a squishy battle mage with no tricks up his sleeve. i dont even take his ult till lvl 12 or 15 so i can deal more dmg but now youve buffed his ult, forced me to take it, and destroyed his poke and shield mechanics . making a champion drastically worse while buffing his ult, the very thing thats causing problems in pro play is just backwards and makes me really regret dropping thousands of hours into him a few years ago. sorry if it seems like a rant but ive never seen a champion that gets straight nerfed back to oblivion everytime his winrate goes over 45%.
