As it was the hotfix buffs may have been a little much. Let those settle in before buffing her more.

God forbid an adc actually be in line or on the lower end of average right? No they must be buffed to the point of getting hot fix buffs.....

A champion whos nearly brand fucking new. There are champions now that are considered balanced that have around that winrate and don't get buffed, champions that don't even reach 50 percent wr and get NERFED.

god forbid that a champion with a 45% winrate gets buffed. Being new has nothing to do with anything. Riot expects champions to fall in specific winrates when they are released, if they don't meet those expectations they get buffed or nerfed. Sorry that your ADC bias cannot comprehend this

You realize plenty of champions were like that and got nerfed? Zoe was within 1 or 2 percent of 45 percent like this and plenty of champs on release have. There are old champs right now in a worse place than Kai Sa by far who aren't getting hotfix buffs.

In this case, the champion being newly released means hold off on buffs. Nerf if they're over the line (see Zoe) but do not hotfix buff.

Kai'Sa was like Bard. Players needed a little more time to learn how to play her and finding her optimal paths.

I've seen much more success with Kai after the hotfix buffs to the point I've only lost 1 ranked game with her (granted, I'm high silver but that's still not a good sign, especially when the single loss was in an off lane).

Right now, she's about to need serious nerfs to be brought back in line. She's a little strong now but not overbearing.

And FYI, this comes from an ADC main. Kai'Sa doesn't need any more buffs. Let the hotfix stuff settle for a full patch before buffing her again.

At first I thought she needed a nudge. The hotfix buffs weren't too much but they were enough to get her into a good spot.

It's that with more buffs on the PBE, I don't want her to end up being nerfed because they overbuffed her.

If they could find a middle ground between now and these changes coming in 8.6, I think that would be safer. If they tied her range increase into E, that might be one step towards keeping her in line. Full AP mid Kai'Sa is going to be scary now with better Q and W harass with her passive.

I don't think she needs more buffs.

Again, I've been playing her a lot since release (already hit M5 and I can confidently take her in ranked). She's performing well (and I'm hoping not TOO well) but I know any further buffs will be too much.
