Hey guys just curious as to what you guys think some good choices would be for one tricks in top/jg? Trying to climb and think I would do better focusing on one champ.

I one trick Jax i only go with him top but you can go with him for jungle

My choices for those roles are Quinn or Maokai . Maokai's gonna get reworked though so if that's a problem for you it might not be the best choice. Maybe Pantheon ? I don't play him personally but I hear he's pretty good in those roles.

Try looking at the one tricks that climb to high elo using this site (www.onetricks.net). Personally I've been practicing a lot of interesting builds by high elo one tricks on a lot of smurfs and find it really easy to climb when playing something like tank Shaco.

whoever motivates you to play, honestly.

I play Kog Maw extensively simply because despite getting destroyed in lane, and usually losing the game because 8 minute 4 man bot invasions and being permanently behind the rest of the game, he's the only real champ I care about.

Sure, it's ideal to one trick a champ like Lulu that is more flexible for lane selection, but ultimately you just want someone you resonate with, not a perception of power level.

Shaco : learning to use his ult to DODGE ANYTHING IN THE GAME EVEN A KARTHUS ULT, can be extremely OP and takes alot of practice

Aatrox : because hes a badass champ, hes extremely difficult to play well, and if you master him, he can be a hidden carry that most people dont expect

Tryndamere : mastering this guy and learning the art of split push can truly frustrate an enemy team to no end because they need to dedicate so much resources to stoping you

Galio : his upcoming rework is gonna make this guy a very viable one trick because he will be extremely versatile

Ahri : master the skill shots, and this chick is very opressive
