[Suggestion] Self-mutes

After seeing this news about some players not being eligible for end of season rewards, I wanted to make this post as it's something I've wanted for a long time. If Riot is going to give this punishment, they should allow you to have an option to mute yourself in game and maybe implement some other forms of self-control for those of us who aren't just asshole trolls. I, admittedly, sometimes have a hard time controlling my harsh words due to irritation/frustration, but I never outright troll or just act like a dickhead for no reason. I get irritated because I want to win and usually because someone repeatedly makes the same mistake. There is some psychological relief in typing out my words of frustration in the chat, but that doesn't always mean that I care if the other players see it. I just want to be able to mute myself, to prevent myself from causing discord among my team as well as getting myself reported. I feel like that's not really a whole lot to ask, considering it would take almost no dev time to implement and would have absolutely no impact on anyone who chose not to use it.
