An idea for supports getting exp

One Thing About the Final Game of the Championship

So I noticed an interesting post in the eSports section (link attached) about the level disparity for supports in pro-play and how that is happening in Qued games as well. I for one do not like falling behind so much in lvls that I am useless or just get blown up and from another guy's post I had a thought for support items giving exp.

** The thought would be something like a storage of exp that collects for every minion last hit near the support (but not by the support) and slowly gives bonus exp from that storage, but accelerates if you are near someone with higher exp. **

This would create risk/reward choices for supports that stay in lane vs roaming, since you can't store up exp if you are not near someone farming, but roaming is also not an entire loss of exp as you will still get that exp from storage and even faster if you roam with the jungler. Though you could also slip this into masteries, but I think that is a bad plan as it would reduce the number of support choices if the mastery was good or negate the point of even having the mastery if it is too weak.

It might need some additional tweaks that keep supports from hitting 6 before the adcs (though that would be an interesting change in the meta) maybe a time delay or lvl requirement on the start of the exp releasing from storage. However, as it is the item would be hard to abuse in other roles since it only gives bonuses to not last hitting and being behind in lvls (it wouldn't work with jungle minions so double jungling doesn't get a buff).

The downside to this is that riot would then be reinforcing the current meta to help supports rather than letting the meta evolve and maybe come up with a new plan or way the game can be played. So Riot would have it's own risk/reward choices to make.

Maybe it's just me but I never really worried about EXP all that much as support. As long as I had access to my abilities as a support I was fine.
