So the enemy Illaoi had 5k life decent resitances and well you can see the DMG for yourself. For comparison Zed: 590 AD 21 Kills Lissandra 21 Kills aswell.
Yet this shall not be a flame only thread I just wanna know: What the hell shall i do when she dives into my team and onehits both my adc and midlaner when they are stacked ?

shes a heavy fighter.
no cc, very low mobility/no hard engage, lots of damage, lots of tankyness.
think about her along the lines of mundo, garen, darius, skarner. considering that her job is to carry and that she seemed to have snowballed, yea doesnt seem like anything wrong to me.

The point is that she has no trade-off let's take lee for example if you want to oneshot bruisers you have like 0 deff and yet cant rly oneshot them, if you go full tank you have still decent dmg but nothing rly crazy.
Now let's look at Illaoi: She was unkillable (5k life decent armor/mr + selfheal) and yet could oneshot or at least twoshot every single one of our team. There's no trade off.

But the champ has its weaknesses. Its just about picking into it properly in champ select and ingame
LeifTheExplorer1 votesIllaoi has weaknesses is many other places that are more likely to be abused in higher elo ranked games, where there is actually coordination. She has no escapes, no hard CC, no efficient gap closer, no reliable ranged harass, and contributes little to nothing when behind. These factors alone keep her from seeing much success in ranked.

Other items I get: mogs/mercs/sun fire/
Spirit or dead mans (depending on if enemy is heavy ap or ad)
Use the keystone mastery that heals you for 40% of your max hp every 4 seconds; on hit effect when basic attacking champions.
You'll do a bit bad/neutral early on, but once you get ga and thornmail you start getting fed easily and end up becoming unstoppable
With rammus: you force the enemy squish to attack you and watch as your W+thornmail combo ends them, make sure to Q first and ugly for AOE dmg
For rumbs: Ult, then W>Q />e only if they run away) continue spamming abilities to be overheated to commence the smackdown then just use W to run if needed

She only does damage if YOU let her but knowing this playerbase who still thinks yasuo is a problem after losing shiv+warlord I doubt they'll learn until the champ is gutted.

Not just that most of the players believe they should win if they attack... I had a mundo die to illaoi within 2 minutes of gameplay his stats were depressing not to mention his effort and/or teamwork.

If her W hits you, move out of the tentacle way then proceed to continue fighting, if her ulti hits you just move away and respect her ulti or cc her down during it and kill her before she retaliates unless she's building tank then just move out of it and again respect her

If she misses her ult she is nothing... Second you had a tahm kench. Why would he not eat her? So I think the question you should be asking yourself.... Why did you teammates and you go with such a selfish strategy?
MakerOfFools1 votesIllaoi is probably the most balanced champion in the damn game. Why? Because she has COUNTERPLAY unlike any other.
Stay behind your minions and at a good distance, what can she do? Smack you with a slow tentacle? Please, walk sideways.
Illaoi ults? GTFO and it doesn't exist anymore holy hell. The strength of her ult is the tentacles, pure and simple. No tentacles around you=no problems.
Get your soul dragged out of you? Another good fix: ATTACK HER. She hits your soul, but it does reduced damage. It's literally like you get a damage reduction buff unless she attacks you, which removes the fact she ever used her soul rip in the first place? And even if you decide to retreat you get free +15 gold if you can sidestep in a safe place. Coupled with the fact you can lifesteal off the tentacles in each hit if you have it...lol
Finally, the bulk of her damage is physical. No true damage unlike a lot of annoying juggernauts. Build early armor and watch her abandon her pitiful god xD
