My duo friend and I always get stuck with trolls, emo kids, and general morons.

My question is, does Riot have an algorithm that places these idiots with duo partners in the hope that baddies get carried? Has anyone else experienced this?

Duo queues have their MMR inflated. This means that your teammates are playing against opponents that are better than them.
