If me and my duo were to convince the top laner to trade lanes and than we got reported by the mid laner for greifing bc we did not follow are assinged roles would we get banned? In other words must the support be in the bot lane?
No. It explicitly states that tactical decisions are not reportable. As long as you look into why that does or doesn't work and you act serious about it, then you're safe.
(THe top laner would have to be someone with great sustainable waveclear btw, bot tower has the lowest stats of the 3 main towers.)
No, duo top is a tactic and it can work very well if the champion in bot going 1v2 can hold the lane sufficiently. I've gotten my Lucian fed playing Shen Support and then gone top to support up there instead for a top laner who was playing into a bad matchup, got 2 lanes snowballed instead of one, good times.
