Veigar's Current State

Riot how can you justify a delay on his e when something like annie exists...you need to get rid of the delay and maybe compensate by lowering the stun time and maybe also lowering the delay on his w. cause in his current state he has 2 spells unless the enemies are retarded. You can't land your w easily without your e and you can't land your e easily unless the enemies are retards. Please put this champ back in a healthy state.

Veigar's current state? There is no Veigar.

Veigar is absolute trash right now. Even lulu can outplay him.

Annie has terrible range on her stun unless you use her ult. I've never understood why people keep comparing them as if a regular ability available at level 1 is the same as using Annie's ult.

Old Veigar had 4 abilities he could use in a 1v1. New Veigar has 2.

I bought Veigar as a burst mage, then Riot made him a poke mage (which I have a ton of). If he can get to where he can land a W on a champion with skill(read: not your opponent being dumb), then he'll probably go back to being a burst mage in my book.

Seeing as he is squishy and isn't that powerful early game, I think his e should have been left alone. By adding a delay, it becomes a lot less useful to escape because there is time to move away before being stunned by it. In addition, the "EW" combo takes a long time to finish, providing the target with more than enough time to get out of the way. I think the reason why he had a rework was because too many people didn't know how to counterplay him, which I didn't get. I would first pick him and then get countered by ad mid champs (zed and talon mainly) and end up losing. Unfortunately, the only counterplay many people get is "dodge the skill shot." They don't think about building magic resist items, shutting veigar down early, or waiting before buying ap items. One last thing I want to point out: I think it's ridiculous that veugar has a delay on his stun but it is OK to release a champion that can put a turret in stasis and unable to fire. It is also mind blowing that teemo gets away with the ability to render attacks useless, deal attacks that melt health, and place traps that slow and drain life. No, Veigar needs to be a sitting duck. Teemo and bard are acceptable.

I think he has an amazing e!... Just not for his kit. In order to almost guarantee that they will be in the stun ring while they're running away, you need to be closer than aa range. That means you need to be close enough for them to turn and kill you With that point in mind, how do you make it so they don't want to turn and fight you? By having them almost dead! All you have to do is to land all your skills, then..... that's right, you're in the process of trying to land your spells. which means 4/5 times they have no reason not to turn and kill you.

Oh god, my anger has been triggered. Here comes the RAGE! No, i'm just kidding, we can discuss this like mature people.

Personally, myself, as a person that really likes to play Veigar, I don't see the big deal with his changes. Q is completely fine IMO and I actually hate Point and click moves considering I always felt there was a lack of skill in them. W seems like its been destroyed but I find it works surprisingly well if you can predict what your enemy will do. It also does a ton of damage later on in the game if you get the right items. E is still perfect because even if you dont get someone in the outline you have them completely trapped, also in alot of situations for me its a life saver (Yeah, fuck you kat.)

Honestly, I don't think he should be changed at all, he still has the potential to just blow up things as if they never existed to begin with. Veigar
