Depending on your region will change, but if you play less popular champions and do well with them you'll have an easier time with your S-
Vexful1 votesI went 6/8/20 on bard got S- so just play a champ people normally suck on dude.
Truly Prideful1 votesKDA isn't everything. Kill participation, CS for farming roles, I think objective participation, and maybe ward stats but I'm not sure. Your grade is also relative to other people who played the same champion in that role.
