Need helps

Me and my friend, we usually play League together. I play League to have fun, and usually play off-meta champs or weird builds ( Like attack speed Shaco ). To me, League is a fun game and i always have fun with it, but my friend, he always serious in League ( try-hard you can say ) and usually rage at his teammates for reasons ( ks, no gank, their team have an ace, they got baron/drag ) and always want to surrender or afk. And of course, he doesnt like me to have fun with League, instead he wants me to be more "serious". Things got real quick when we had an argument when I reported him for afk and negative attitude, we started to stop talking to each other for days now, and then I realized that I cant have fun in League when I play with him. So I dont know what to do, be more serious/apologize to him or stop playing League with him. Also my English is pretty bad so sorry :P
