If you could make 3 changes to improve the "game". what would they be?and why?

this post is about sharing game improvement opinions/ideas rather then debating them. please share your ideas as i would very much like to hear what other peoples ideas are.

for me i would make these 3 changes.

1. lower or outright remove gold/exp/power from early objectives..(FB,drag,rift,towerplates..ect) i mean by like a lot for at least for the 1st 10-15 min of the game.

the reason for this is because i believe this would fix a lot of the things people are complaining about... less important early objectives means jungle dont need to be gutted directly.top might feel more relevant as well.... games dont have to rely around bot lane as much.. less snowballing..early champs can fall off. late/mid game champs might get an opportunity to come online.ect.. having objectives only matter later on may make the game more about team fights in the later stages rather then the stomp lane and rotate in 1st 10-15 we have now.

2. revert the runes system back to the old. and just readjust change add numbers and stuff to make the old ones a bit more interesting

_as soon as they added the new ones i saw they would have many issues in balancing. as anytime you you change one rune it will effect MANY champs at the same time which creates more work.. as many champs could get to weak or strong from direct runes changes. and if you change a champ that is to strong/weak with certain runes it may break the champ balance with the other runes. either way its a balancing nightmare...

the other problem is the runes favor/reward damage and aggressive playing and riot seems to not want them to to much of other things.. which is also a large reason the game is like it is now._

3.refund skins and champ BE for reworked champs...or~~ stop with the disaster/gut reworks~~ at least let me trade them in for something else

_its not to cool to buy a skin for a champ you like only to have it removed from the game later.i mean what if i dont like the rework then i am stuck with skins i paid for dont ever use again... _

Let the downvote farm commence:

  • Only balance the game for high end players, with the lowest balance point being D2 and highest being Challenger.

Reasoning: All balance problems currently, including balance nightmares such as Akali, Irelia, Aatrox, and others, along high damage, etc, are due to Riot's "dedication" to try and balance the game for everyone at once, and while they take small steps in the right direction, it's just not enough. Too many of their current changes are to please the lower elos but they end up ruining the game because of that. Adding more skill required to the game will bring back it's competitiveness and remove the biggest complains around here, the "game over at 10 mins". Damage is too high because low end players can't carry with anything else.

  • Fully remove runes. No revert, no rework, fully removed.

Reasoning: Old runes were just minor stat boosts and although people use nostalgia glasses to say how "versatile" they were, in reality they weren't, outside of a few specific cases, everything was pretty much set in stone, champ X goes with setup Y, that's the best, no point to take others. Just rebalance champions to work without the need of runes and that will bring back a lot more skill expression to the game because now it's not longer an "I get boosted stats". Sure, "counter" match-ups will be a bit more annoying for low end players, but hey, the path to victory is never easy, and if the balance is done right for higher elos, then those match-ups will be doable but hard and won by skill instead of "me Yasuo, me regen all with Taste of Blood Ravenous Hunter".

  • Full item overhaul.

Reasoning: AD items are broken. Not overpowered, but broken by design, AD has way too much and all items are double dipping because not only they boost everything in the spell department but also the champ's AA, and AP items being forced to keep up aren't in a healthy spot either, so a full rework of the items in general should solve the issue.

I would make a single change, That I think would fix most issues..

delete ranked solo...all ranked games happen with a team..

  1. Have Tencent Sell it to a US non-EA games company
  2. Fire a lot of the company Designers/Testers/Balance team
  3. Rework the Forums and have actual employees as Mods

1.) Make wayyy more items first-item worthy. It's so easy to troll with item builds, even accidentally. The buff to Sunfire on PBE is a good start.

2.) Make wayyy more offrole toplaners besides just Soraka a bit worse in solo lanes. Not take out their kneecaps - just nerf them a bit.

3.) Make wayyy more keystones work well on more champions. I feel like a ton of runes are way better on certain champions than others. Some champs can make half of them work, but most just have like 1 or 2 that are remotely useful for them.

If I could change the game, it would probably be to get rid of most of the playerbase.

1-remove series and let us see our hidden mmr 2- remove the elder dragon and 3- try to slowly nerf EVERY champions to slow down the high dmg and high mobility creep.

Damn so hard not to reply to anyone, wonder who will break this rule first.

Anyway,

  1. Runes need to be toned way down, both minors and keystones (shards are aight).

Rune should be small tweaks to your champs performance to make them able to more viably perform in a slightly different way or possibly a different role. They shouldn't be making your champion the 2.0 version of itself. But Keystones, they need to be gutted. A lot of them need mechanics removed and others need effectiveness toned down a ton (ex. Conq doesn't need to heal, Grasp doesn't need to give permanent health, Aftershock doesn't need to do damage, Aery doesn't need to do damage, Glacial Augment doesn't need to be a goddam 60% slow that lasts potentially 5s, and all Keystones need damage gutting)

  1. Make ranged top laners more risk/reward without gutting them so melees can more viably win these matchups.

This would be a set of individual changes to all ranged champions that go top lane and are overly effective at both winning and not losing lane. Goal would be to give them clear windows of power (higher risk escape moves or longer cd escape moves + lower consistent damage with higher damage in a given window (like Vlad's Blood Rush for instance)).

  1. Nerf crit RNG

Critical strike chance under certain % should prevent multiple crits in a row (in exchange increase the psuedo-RNG chance for the next crit each time an attack wasn't allowed to crit).

This is pretty specifically aimed at Tryn but also solves a big issue of crit rolling for all roles. Should never be losing to raw RNG like this. This should just make crit more consistent with expectations.

Change would be like this (after a crit occurs, your next x attacks...). Restrictions are lenient so high-roll crits are still a thing, but the best case is not as insane. Also don't worry about being cheated out of crits, as Psuedo-RNG should also take into account attacks you were restricted from critting on, increasing the chances of your next attack critting.

≤20% - after a crit, next 3 attacks cannot crit ≥25% - after a crit, next 2 attacks cannot crit ≥40% - after a crit, next attack cannot crit =50% - after two crits in a row, next attack cannot crit >50% - after 3 crits in a row, next attack cannot crit ≥75% - after 4 crits in a row, next attack cannot crit =80% - after 5 crits in a row, next attack cannot crit >80% - restrictions removed
