Vladimir needs a NERF!
Hey,
I was actually wondering if Vladimir could do with a few nerfs. I just feel he is pretty darn overpowered right now and I'm sure others would agree. I am not really sure as to why Riot decided to buff Vladimir. It's understandable that something needed to be added to Vladimir to compensate Spell-Vamp items getting removed completely but, to buff him, just seems rather confusing because in the current meta, as it stands, Vladimir is seen to be one of the most overpowered champions and to support that point, actual league YouTubers who are at least Diamond+ have actually made videos to do with the topic of "Op Champions as of Patch 6.12" and some of them such as Redmercy have actually mentioned Vladimir is one of the most overpowered champions as of right now. In addition, regarding the match that I linked with this thread, the Vladimir that we were up against was so strong, he was able to even 1v3 and even 1v4 at times. He was able to heal so much from his Q, his Ultimate and even from his items. Granted the Nocturne was pretty fed but this Vladimir, even if he didn't have at least 5 kills, he would still be able to deal large amounts of damage and even get something like a triple kill or a quadra kill. Honestly, I think that, what Riot could do to just balance Vladimir in the current meta, is to give him just a few nerfs to something like his Q by either reducing the base damage at level 1 or so as well as increasing the cooldown of not only his Q but also his Ultimate. If that's not possible then, Riot should give him the Ekko treatment where, instead of people building tanky items on him to be able to deal large amounts of damage, they should make it so that people build AP items on him instead. Because that's what Vladimir was designed to do right? To build AP items to deal a ton of AP to targets. I don't know. I mean I'm not saying Riot should just nerf Vladimir so hard that it discouraged Vladimir players from every playing him again, no, I'm just saying Riot should balance him a bit by giving him a few nerfs here and there. That's all I had to say really so, thank you to those who actually took the time to read this massive paragraph lmao and hopefully Riot do actually take all of this into consideration and actually give Vladimir a few tweaks here and there.
