RIOT nerfs Malzahar but apparently they don't get why people play him

So... apparently RIOT thinks that lowering Malzahar's R damage would have changed something.

People only play him to push constantly and clear waves in 2 seconds without consuming any mana and to flash+R for 2.5 second hard cc.

They never cared about his R damage and its nerf won't change anything.

people play him because hes a support that can lane very well, and supports are far more valuable than magic damage in this meta.

r changes won't do anything, he had little kill potential to begin with.
