Suggestion
**Just want to note this is only my thoughts about setting league on the right path, mainly limited to rune pages and dragon buffs. ** I feel like a lot of the insane damage, healing, and overall craziness will tone down a ton if we just revert runes prior to the Thunder lords bullshit. We went from "Increases attack speed by 4% per rank" - Alacrity to "Gain 3% attack speed plus an additional 1.5% for every legend stack (max 10 stacks)"- Legend Alacrity . We went from being able to get 4% bonus attack speed to being able to get 18%, it's even worse when you compare the final tiers We went from "increases damage dealt by 5%"- Havoc to shit like Conqueror where you get to stack stats and heal from it.
The crap like this is what makes champions who be too big of a deal
into a huge problem. His self healing on the old runes would be minuscule compared to now, where he can heal from ravenous hydra , taste of blood and Conqueror all of while dealing heavy damage. Ever since you reworked the runes and masteries the games power creep has been on a steady rise. Combine this with the change to dragons Dragon soul and elder drake (seriously why an execute) and you got
with a 26 second ult that does 1000+ damage.
The first step I believe would be to go back to the old structure of runes and dragons. Dragon was important but not vital, and masteries were added stats, not this bonus burst 180 damage or bonus 110% attack speed we have now. I personally would prefer Dragon V4.20 just tuned down a bit. EX: DRAGON'S MIGHT (1 stack): +5% total attack damage and ability power. DRAGON'S DOMINANCE (2 stacks): +10% damage to minions and monsters. DRAGON'S FLIGHT (3 stacks): +5% movement speed. DRAGON'S WRATH (4 stacks): +5% damage to turrets and buildings. ASPECT OF THE DRAGON (5 stacks, repeatable): Doubles all other bonuses and your attacks burn enemies for 120 true damage over 5 seconds. Lasts 180 seconds.
